Recently, I visited Tall volcano, "a crater within an island within a lake".
From Manila I took a tour south to Tagaytay City. Went down to Talisay Batangas with a guide, you can find them along the road offering boat ride to the the volcano. From the city going down to Talisay took us 30 minutes, boat ride to the Taal volcano island took us 20 minutes. In the island you will be offered a horse ride with a guide to go up the volcano. The view from above is just breathtaking. The horse ride is an amazing experience too! :D
