Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone here has done this? A friend and I are planning on doing it next year in a Robin Reliant.
For those who haven't heard of it, it's a race from London to the Border of Mongolia. Your car can't cost more then £150 and must be 1 litre or under (I think that's right anyway). The money goes to charity, and you get to visit about 10 countries along the way.
Sounds pretty awesome to me. The website address is http://www.mongolrally.com/, but it's just being refurbed at present. However you can see another event they do advertised there, which is a race across India on Tuk Tuks, sounds equally insane and you get to have you ass kicked at cricket by the locals too! I'd love to do both these events at some point. I'd probably do the India run if I could get the time off work.
