I don't know about you guys, but one thing we quickly found is that taking our own music system with us, really made all the difference. I bought a pair of speakers, while Kyle brought his CD player. We had quite a collection of music, but we easily played Kyle's 'Ska Train' CD the most. Trouble is the speakers were quite heavy, and the CD player was quite delicate, I thought next time I go I'm going all out!
When we were living in Sydney, a friend of ours bought these amazing fold away speakers for his minidisc player. I thought these and an MP3 player (probably a nanopod), would be be the perfect set up for all your music needs.
If anyone can think of a better set up, I'd really like to hear it. If we could lose some weight in the speaker department without losing quality, I think that's the way to go!
As you can tell, I take this subject far too seriously, but you'll all thank me for it one day. :D
